Matcha Brownies

Matcha Brownies

Fudgy white chocolate matcha brownies.

These fudgy, irresistible brownies combine the earthy depth of ceremonial grade matcha with rich white chocolate. No artificial flavors or preservatives — just pure indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup (150g) white chocolate, chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup (95g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp matcha powder (ceremonial grade)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup (90g) white chocolate chunks or chips (reserve some for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter & chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, melt butter and white chocolate together until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  3. Whisk wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla until pale and slightly thick.
  4. Combine: Pour in the melted white chocolate mixture and mix until smooth.
  5. Add dry ingredients: Sift in flour, matcha powder, and salt. Fold until just combined. Stir in white chocolate chunks.
  6. Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan. Top with extra white chocolate chunks. Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Cool & enjoy: Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into fudgy squares. Enjoy!

Makes: 9–12 brownies

Dr. Kesha's Tip: For the fudgiest brownies, don't overbake! Let them cool completely for the best texture.
