Matcha Brownies
Fudgy white chocolate matcha brownies.
These fudgy, irresistible brownies combine the earthy depth of ceremonial grade matcha with rich white chocolate. No artificial flavors or preservatives — just pure indulgence.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup (150g) white chocolate, chopped
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup (95g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp matcha powder (ceremonial grade)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (90g) white chocolate chunks or chips (reserve some for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter & chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, melt butter and white chocolate together until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Whisk wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla until pale and slightly thick.
- Combine: Pour in the melted white chocolate mixture and mix until smooth.
- Add dry ingredients: Sift in flour, matcha powder, and salt. Fold until just combined. Stir in white chocolate chunks.
- Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan. Top with extra white chocolate chunks. Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool & enjoy: Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into fudgy squares. Enjoy!
